| Review: The plot is interesting but the story itself does not go much further than that. The double dates and when the guys are together are scenes particularly empty of story. Maybe there is a sense in it, but I did not understood it. The acting is quite good especially the one of Momone. Nevertheless not much happens and when something happens in the dialogue between the two guys, the confidence part is coming from nowhere. The dialogues between Momone and Noboru are good. The scene of Momone and Noboru on the roof and outside town are particularly well directed for the picture and the dialogues. The rest has not much content, so that out of 109 minutes, this could have been much shorter. |

The digestion of an excellent lunch made me fall asleep after 20 minutes of movie, and I left the room shortly after, so I cannot rate it. But from what I have seen I suspect that 109 minutes feels reeeeally long.
