Synopsis: Tetsuo (Shibukawa) directed one successful early debut as young indie director. And since then nothing. He became decadent and selfish. When a young writer Ken (Oshinari) and actress Minami (Okano) join his team, a new project seem to start. | |
Review: The movie shows that the Casting Couch exists also for low budget movies. The story did not get me. The characters neither as most of them have no volume. Only the acting of Tetsuo is really good for its authenticity in the lowlife. Then the world of Japanese cinema is shown as cruel and money driven. But this is not new and I did not see any originality. |
