Synopsis: Gísli (Hansson) is an actor without future. When he looses job and wife, he decides to come back to his father. He pushes his childhood friend Viðar (Kristjánsson) who never left the village and has no driving license to drive around Iceland in reverse. Soon after their trip starts they find out that this was perhaps not the best idea in the world. Nothing goes as planned and almost everything goes wrong.
Review: The story introduces first one looser and then another one. Both in very different ways. The one is egocentric and extroverted. The other is friendly and introverted. Slowly we discover that their friendship is not that easy and both learn in this strange road movie how to behave better with each other and with others.
There are many scenes with black humour or just with a running gag on one of their misfortune. This running gaga is used to catch the contact with all the secondary roles and these introduce then other funny dialogues. Humour and drama alternate with the right balance.
Rating: 6 /10
