Review: Yet another horror comedy, actually not as funny as I thought it would be but this doesn't mean it is a bad movie. I was tired when watching the movie and feared its 109 minutes, but the succession of events makes it pleasant to follow (with the right amount of twists), the mother-daughter relationship at the heart of the story is nicely put in place, and the comedy moments (often around the funny mother) arrive always just in time to relax the tension.
Not extraordinary but a new view at the haunted house myth, Housebound won the H.R Giger "Narcisse" Award at the NIFFF20214.
Rating: 6 /10
