Synopsis: Now happy father of three, ex-super villain Gru (Carell) is hired by a secret agency to help unveiling the evil plans of a new enemy, with the help of Lucy (Wiig).
Review: Sequel to the successful 2010 Despicable Me, this second movie uses the same imagery: gadgets, exaggerated characters (especially the villains), family stories and of course an increased dose of Minion action, creatures apparently very popular with kids after the first movie, and a mix between Raving Rabbids and the green creatures from Toy Story, moreover speaking with high-pitched voices a funny language mixture or French, Italian, Spanish and German.
But I found the story less interesting than the previous one, too much oriented towards family values and with less interesting second degree for adults. I didn't find the movie very funny, and was even annoyed by the too frequent use of club music to illustrate and try to bring fun in some scene.
We are definitely far from The Incredibles.
