Synopsis: Eric (McKenna) is hired to take measurements in a forest land for a company. A few days later his student/mistress Olivia (Algar) joins him. Strange things happen in the woods: shadows, light, sounds. He experiences more and more of them.
Review: I appreciate the main message of the movie: Man going back to Nature, and I like how this is sometimes shown in Without Name (light, fog, tree branches, the shadow of a spirit in the forest...) but I found the whole thing too experimental and slow to my taste. It is done on purpose so that you follow the descent of the main character into a semi-madness, but what I didn't like in particular is his reactions that didn't make sense to me, and the weird editing showing too long scenes in which nothing happens.
That's to bad, a live movie on the topic (equivalent to the Japanese animated Princess Mononoke) is long overdue, and this Irish attempt looked promising.
Rating: 5 /10
