Synopsis: A man pay another one to walk together during an undefined time in the street of Tokyo.
Review: I knew the director from Udine and a great movie, In the pool. Adrift in Tokyo is very slow, as many Japanese drama. The plot sounds interesting because it could turn crazy as Japanese director can do excellently. Not this time. There are some moments of fine crazyness, but most of the time almost nothing happens. The dialogues are good but I missed a rythm on the dialogues and on the storyline. And I do not know whether the actors are mild or the director but even for the usually passionless movies, this one is particulary damping the feelings of the actors.
