Dear Cinephiles,
we started the month of May with a review of the mega-blockbuster Avengers: Endgame, temporary conclusion to 10 years and 22 Marvel Studios movies. We also watched two movies surrounding that Universe but not part of it: the 2003 Hulk by Ang Lee to which we found qualities, and the recent animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, surprising of youth and freshness.
We couldn't miss the last season of the the TV-series Game of Thrones, and we enjoyed a lot the SF series Love, Death & Robots on Netflix.
In different genres we liked watching again the 90's action classic Con Air with Nicolas Cage, the french cult comedy La cité de la peur, and were positively surprised by Christopher Nolan's approach to WWII in Dunkirk.
