Review: After a successful trilogy with Matt Damon, it has been interesting to watch a fourth episode justly entitled Legacy which was not featuring Bourne but taking place in parallel to events in which he was. This new movie has a title that make it seem like a final movie (like Rocky or John Rambo), while it is quickly obvious that it is more like the first one in a new trilogy.
The director Paul Greengrass is back at the commands, and the movie does follow the same spirit as the others: Bourne alone trying to find more about his past against a branch of CIA that want him dead.  But I didn't find much interest in that story, apart maybe for the new character of the ambitious Heather Lee played by the lovely Alicia Vikander recently seen in The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
The rest is nothing new (conspiracy, paranoia, crude fist fights and travels to cities around the world), and what annoyed me most was that about half the movie seems to consist in filming characters with a stern face walking energetically to somewhere. When I started to think about that it is the only thing I could see anymore, and that looked ridiculous. A couple of fight scenes are worth watching, but even the car races for which the series is renowned are not exceptional.
Arguably the worst of the series.
Rating: 4 /10
