Synopsis: Chico is a piano player. Rita is a beautiful singer. They meet in the Cuba pre-Castro. Both are looking for a top music career in New-York. Both are united by music and romantic. Both build their way to New-York.
Review: This is a charming love story, with spices such as glory, jealousy, poor main characters. A love that is kept unrealised as in other recent South American movies like Un cuento chino. Very good music and nice colors. The illustration style makes lots of bad faces.
