Dear Cinephiles,
in November took place the Nordic Film Days in Lübeck. An article about the Festival is coming up as well as some more reviews, but the best movies reviewed so far are the women Dramas Dröm vidare and Exfrun, and Documentaries in different styles: the touching Liebe Oma, Guten Tag!, Ishavsblod - De siste selfangerne (Sealers - One last hunt) that satisfied our curiosity about seal-hunting and the political Kiehumispiste (Boiling Point) about two extreme points of view about immigration in Finland.
TV-series appreciated this month are the second season of the 80's Stranger Things and the third of Narcos about the drug cartels in Columbia.
Worth mentioning are also the third movie in the well-thought reboot War for the planet of the Apes, Mario Bava's 1966 Giallo Operazione paura, Mercury Rising with Bruce Willis and WarGames for the 80's geeks.
Finally we both expressed our love for one of the best Japanese Animes ever: Perfect Blue.
