Dear Cinephiles,
The month of May has seen the conclusion of the Udine Far East Film Festival to which JoRafCinema participated and hopefully succeeded in sharing the Festival atmosphere with you, especially with the post on the FEFF 2014. Among the 22 movies we have seen, the best were Shift, Barber's Tales both from the Philippines, The Terror Live from Hong-Kong and The Attorney from South Korea. Maybe motivated by the FEFF, we have also watched two Japanese oldies with Sonny Chiba: The Bullet Train and Golgo 13.
Apart from movies we also watch some TV-series and in May we have reviewed the third season of Game of Thrones and the fifth of Sons of Anarchy. We have also reviewed the interesting British trilogy of Dark polars Red Riding 1970, 1980 and 1983.
Among recent releases we have liked Godzilla, Casse-tête Chinois and Locke.
Finally, we can now confirm that we will participate to the Neuchâtel International Film Festival from July 10th to 13th where we will also be present Kevin Smith (Clerks 1-2, Dogma, Red State) and George R. R. Martin (creator of Game of Thrones) and very probably to the Karlovy Vary International film festival from July 4th to 12th having a section for Central/Eastern Europe.
