Dear Cinephiles,
This had been noticed in the Third Anniversary article and the year 2015 confirmed it: December was another quiet month on JoRafCinema. But we couldn't miss the new Star Wars movie The Force Awakens and we both liked it.
Apart from this blockbuster event, we recommend other recent releases such as The Girl King, Legend with the excellent Tom Hardy, the Swedish comedy Sophelikoptern and to a lesser extend Mistress America by the director and with the actress of the great Frances Ha.
In the less recent section we liked Man of Tai Chi with and by Keanu Reeves, Pixar's classic Monsters Inc. and Sofia Coppola's Lost in Translation. For something weird and different one could watch the Japanese pink musical comedy Underwater Love.
Most importantly we granted the highest ranking and thus title of Masterpiece to The Mission from 1986 with Jeremy Irons, Robert de Niro and Liam Neeson.
Happy and cinematographic year 2016 !!!
