Dear Cinephiles,

we have been reviewing mostly recent releases this month on JoRafCinema, except for the excellent 2010 Inception by Christopher Nolan.
From 2017 we found many good things in the crime-solving puzzle Murder on the Orient Express and in Darkest Hour in which Gary Oldman plays Winston Churchill at the brink of WWII. On that same year was released the 4-part Documentary mini-series Trump: An American Dream that gives a good overview, although slightly biased, of the current USA president.
Fresh from Netflix we liked The Cloverfield Paradox and will probably soon watch the previous movie in the series 10, Cloverfield Lane. We enjoyed even more the SF Mystery Annihilation with Nathalie Portman. Hopefully Annihilation goes also soon in the theaters.
Finally we gave good ratings to the two big American releases of the month (if not of the year): the latest Marvel superhero blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War and more importantly Steven Spielberg's magical Ready Player One that we both loved and managed to see in the same city!
