Dear Cinephiles,
many recommendations this month go to Genre movies/series, starting with the still thrilling fifth season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Maybe not the one you would expect but one of us loved the 80's Horror cult classic Hellraiser by Clive Barker, and recommends the more recent cheap Turbo Kid. A different view of the Genre is presented in the superb A Quiet Place with Emily Blunt.
In a more classic category (Drama) we highlighted three excellent movies: the intimist post-Western The Rider, Lady Bird with Saoirse Ronan also taking place in a small American community and Ron Howard's A Beautiful Mind with Russel Crowe.
