Synopsis: The true story of Captain Richard Phillips and the 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates of the US-flagged MV Maersk Alabama.
Review: The story focuses on the duel of the American captain against the Somali captain. As a good American movie, it shows the small weaknesses of the Americans, the crazy uneducated terrorists and the US army saving the good people. Not my kind of story. Even if this highlights for the first time in a movie the issue of modern piracy, but not in a constructive way. The acting of Tom Hanks is good and similar to Cast away, the lost man that resists and keeps faith.
