Dear Cinephiles,
in September we reviewed no less that seven (!) seasons of TV-series, including five belonging to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, of which we can only recommend parts of the forth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the new one: The Defenders. Otherwise we liked the French series Marseille with Gérard Depardieu and the second season of the Solar system exploratory The Expanse.
Still in space, we liked the blockbuster Passengers with Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence, and closer to Earth Life and its nasty alien.
We finally published our Report on the FANTASPOA Festival that took place end of May in Brazil.
After a visit to the Rock in San Fransisco we loved watching again the classic Escape from Alcatraz with Clint Eastwood. And we took a guilty pleasure watching Liam Neeson kick some ass in the kidnap-and-revenge Taken.
During this month we have also seen a few Documentaries but no good recent movie, apart maybe from the British Their Finest and the last Soderbergh Logan Lucky showing a rare countryside of the USA.
