Dear Cinephiles,

A record number of 45 posts on JoRafCinema this month, number we hadn't reached since August 2013. This was achieved partly thanks to the Far East Film Festival at which we have seen 14 movies among which the best were the Japanese 0.5 mm and Unsung Hero, the Indonesian Siti and especially the Cambodian The Last Reel. In continuation to the festival we have watched Rising Sun with Sean Connery and Wesley Snipes.
We have also reviewed the Matrix trilogy (The Matrix, Reloaded and Revolutions), then Mad Max and its sequel Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior before enjoying the new Mad Max: Fury Road.
Also this month, two Danish movies from Susanne Bier: After the Wedding and Second Chance, a light comedy with Bill Murray The Man who Knew too Little, the sequel to 2001 - A Space Odyssey: 2010, the beginning of a series of 70's movies with or by Clint Eastwood: Play Misty for me and The Eiger Sanction, and two classics from around 1940: Gone with the Wind and Disney's Pinocchio.
