Dear Cinephiles,
In March the Fantasy Filmfest Nights allowed us to discover the excellent Thrillers The Guest and Marshland, as well the latest Horror film by Kevin Smith (Clerks): Tusk.
Among recent cinema releases, we enjoyed the Drama Still Alice and the original spy movie Kingsman: Secret Services. From 2014 we liked David Fincher's Gone Girl, the animated Big Hero 6 and the hilarious Horrible Bosses 2. We also appreciated to see Keanu Reeves practicing Martial Arts in 47 Ronin, and in the same genre we definitely gave Kung Fu Panda a good rating.
We have also re-discovered two jewels of science Fiction, in different genres: the B-movie Pitch Black with Vin Diesel, and the 1972 delirious animated Heavy Metal. Finally we couldn't resist giving the highest rating to Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds.
In April we will be preparing our stay at the Udine Far East Film Festival for its 17th edition and our 8th.
