Dear Cinephiles,

December is always very quiet on JoRafCinema and this year was not exception, but we did manage to see a few movies, not recent, that we can recommend.
Always difficult to watch, Roman Polanski's The Pianist left us speechless once more. We also loved to rediscover the suspense in Clint Eastwood's Absolute Power, we were moved by Francois Ozon's Sous le Sable, and to a lesser extend by the French comedy Jean-Philippe. We liked to originality of American Splendor and Love Actually.
For people interested in computer generated animation, we can advise to watch the documentary The Pixar Story.
Among recent releases, we liked La French and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, although not as much as we would have hoped. And the first season of the TV-series Fargo makes us want to watch the movie again.
The last Festival of the Year 2014, the Nordic Film Days Lübeck has been held in November and fully commented in December. JoRafCinema discovered a few excellent movies there.
